Account Manager - PR Agency

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a highly regarded, fast-paced Corporate PR Agency

My client is looking for a talented, well-connected and energetic corporate PR expert to come on board and join their growing team.  Following a successful year, they are looking to hire an experienced Account Manager or a Senior Account Executive who is looking for a chance to develop their career. 

Their clients range from global private equity firms to institutional investors, real estates and FTSE-listed companies. They are leading debates in areas like modular housing, life sciences, the build-to-rent sector and ESG.

The bedrock of their business is blending corporate communications and policy advice with strategic consultancy, helping their clients navigate the world around them. They have won awards for their reports, thought leadership pieces and podcasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being the account manager or day-to-day lead on client activities
• Engaging with journalists and digesting relevant media every day
• Writing press releases, columns and articles
• Handling clients’ social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn etc.)

The ideal candidate has the following experience:

• A track record with B2B media relations and demonstrate a good track record with business media.
• A basic understanding of the property sector, such as the latest policy or industry developments, is a bonus but not crucial.
• You will have a solid track record in corporate media relations and a wider understanding of business and policy issues.
• Demonstratable experience in placing stories and being able to write clean copy to tight deadlines is essential.
• Experience working as an account manager / senior account executive for a Public Relations Agency
• The ability to work to tight media deadlines on a number of simultaneous projects
• Client management experience, responding and delivering to their demands and pressures
• Independent, clear and creative thinking, takes initiatives, goes beyond the expected, spots opportunities and innovates
