Are you a Senior Account Executive or Account Manager with tech media experience seeking new opportunities?
An independent tech PR agency is on the hunt for an ambitious and creative Senior Account Executive or Account Manager to join its team. This company works with the most innovative tech startups and scaleups, devising creative news strategies to give them the exposure they need to grow their businesses. They are a young, vibrant and ambitious team of international media experts, looking after clients based in the US, UK and Europe. International travel is a perk of this role (post covid!)
About the Senior Account Executive / Account Manager role:
Reporting directly to the MD, this role is suited to a Senior Account Executive or an Account Manager, depending on experience. The role can be moulded to fit the right person but key responsibilities will include:
Team management - you will work work directly under the team heads on day-to-day team management, delegating and organising team work, as well as coaching and development of junior team members
Client management - you'll be counseling clients day-to-day, managing challenging requests and ensuring output is delivered to an exceptional standard
Proactive and reactive media relations, sourcing the best consumer media opportunities for your clients
Content creation and writing - you will be regularly generating written assets for your client
Supporting on new business pitches, from proposal to presentation
The ideal experience for this Senior Account Executive / Account Manager role would include:
Background in tech PR - past experience working with consumer tech brands would be a plus but B2B tech experience is also welcomed
Circa 3+ years PR / comms experience working at SAE or AM level
Demonstrable examples of generating corporate or business news stories for tech clients
Demonstable agency experience working in a busy press office, newsjacking and disseminating timely news stories (you must be comfortable calling journalists on occasion)
Being a strong client handler who knows how to manage clients seamlessly
In return the Senior Account Executive / Account Manager will get:

Salary circa £30,000 - £40,000
