My client is a respected, independent communications agency with long standing clients and a reputation for producing impactful, award-winning work. It has a track record of punching above its weight and its ambitious plans for growth make it stand out as an agency that's genuinely going places. 

It is currently looking for someone at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level. The agency is based in Cardiff and, in addition to looking at candidates local to there, it is keen to consider talented people who are based elsewhere in the UK, and who would be happy to work remotely. This could either be as a permanent role, or a long term (12 month) contract.

In either case the team is looking for an ambitious, passionate and fearlessly creative practitioner who has exceptional experience working across all media (print, online, broadcast and social), creating award-winning, integrated work. Someone who sets themself the highest standards, who has creativity, enthusiasm and is digitally progressive.

The role will suit someone with a blend of traditional and digital PR and content skills. This includes an excellent background in securing top tier media coverage with links as well as in niche industry placements. The media aspect requires someone who jumps out of bed spotting and thinking about newsjacking and reactive PR opportunities. Whilst in the wider team you will be a friendly and motivational leader.

The immediate client portfolio sits at what you might call the slightly more serious end of consumer PR - running integrated campaigns for more issues-based clients, rather than product PR. That includes a FTSE 100 financial services brand, with the activity touching on a huge range of aspects of modern life. 

This has never been a 'regional' focused agency, and very much sees the UK's leading agencies as its competition. A point further illustrated by the recent hiring of a Director from one of the industry's biggest global agencies. As such it looks for people who have that same hunger and entrepreneurial spirit, understanding they're on a journey and relishing those growth opportunities.
