Head of PR

12 month Maternity cover – Start date latest Aug/Sept 2021

The client is open to your sector background, this role would be suited to a broad PR Professional (B2C or B2B and Agency or In-House background) who has worked in a fast-paced entrepreneurial business (possibly a start-up/scale up environment)

f1 Recruitment has been engaged on an exclusive basis with a customer generation, tech and marketing growth business with an international reach to recruit an entrepreneurial Head of PR for a 12 month maternity cover.

In this stand-alone role, you will have complete ownership from strategy through to delivery across all PR activities. Launching a calendar of regular campaigns to promote the business and its leadership, as well as it being a leader across its business areas. Building and maintaining relationships with key journalists in the sector. The role will also include Crisis management an M&A communications and business announcements when required.

You will be a broad PR Lead who enjoys both strategic and delivery aspects of a PR remit. The client is open to all sector background, though you will ideally be from a fast-paced environment from a growth business. Having a proven track record of creating stories, campaigns and concepts that tap into the right media and audience. As well as experience of Crisis Comms. Digital PR experience would be a plus.
