Job Details

This award-winning agency is the leader in culture and entertainment PR, with prestigious clients from the worlds of literature, TV, film and events. Founded and led by an inspirational industry powerhouse, their diverse team is growing quickly and this is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of their expansion.

The agency is run very transparently - each team member knows how they can contribute individually and one of their core values is ensuring that everyone can be their true selves at work. Progression and development is based on merit, rather than longevity, and there are lots of opportunities to develop your own niche / area to 'own'. They've developed several wellbeing initiatives, invested heavily in training and development and created an inspiring working environment - so much so, they were recently nominated for a Company Culture Award.

The Account Director role

The new Account Director will lead client relationships, develop creative and strategic PR campaigns and oversee Account Managers and Account Executives. You'll be working across integrated consumer campaigns covering brand management, crisis comms, media relations and social / digital campaigns, and you'll work with clients across literature, art and theatre.

What they're looking for:

  • Experience in a consumer PR agency role at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level
  • A passion for culture, and in particular literature
  • Team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior team members
  • A track record of leading and managing PR campaigns, from development and planning, through to execution

In return

The Account Director role is paying a basic salary of £40k - £46k, depending on experience.

Flexibility around working from home is fully encouraged - there is no long-term expectation to be in the office everyday (and currently they're all still WFH fulltime).

Benefits include Employee Assistance Plan, a generous bonus scheme and an on-site gym.
