PR Manager / Communications Manager - Internal Role at a top 10 Creative Agency

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PR Manager / Communications Manager to come and join a leading creative / integrated agency, and you'll sit within their internal new business, marketing and PR team. The team is around 17 people, which is huge, and the PR Manager / Communications Manager will report into the Global Head of Comms.

The role of the PR Manager / Communications Manager is to raise the profile of the agency in London and the across the Group, internationally. They have a main office in London and a number of growing offices around the world, and they are arguably one of the best in the business.

We want a PR Manager / Communications Manager ideally from a PR agency, someone who can bring a different dynamic to this team. 

We are looking for a PR Manager / Communications Manager with a minimum of 4-5 years PR experience, ideally within a PR agency setting.

As PR Manager / Communications Manager , you must be articulate, highly driven, proactive and ambitious, interested in great work and able to get involved in multiple projects. Excellent written skills are imperative for the PR Manager / Communications Manager and will form a big part of the role.

Passionate about talking to the media and pitching in stories, you will have strong existing relationships with journalists. Specific industry knowledge is not essential but B2B experience is preferred for this PR Manager / Communications Manager role. 

You will report into the Group Communications Director. On a day-to-day basis the PR Manager / Communications Manager  will work alongside the Group PR & Marketing Coordinator and Group Community Manager who form part of the central agency New Business and Marketing team. Your work will span a combination of internal and external comms, and there might be some event management as part of the role.

The PR Manager / Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the Comms calendar, you will be responsible for keeping on top of key industry and cultural moments across the year as well as the newsflow of the Group.

The PR Manager / Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and managing PR campaigns both in London and across our international offices, coming up with proactive and creative launch ideas. Effectively liaising with key stakeholders including account teams, clients and client PR agencies.

We are looking for a PR Manager / Communications Manager who can develop story ideas to pitch in to publications, understanding how the media works and what makes a story. You will be apt at problem solving and comfortable with handling challenging media enquiries.

Your writing skills will be excellent, and we are looking for a PR Manager / Communications Manager who can craft top quality press releases to ‘sell’ the work as best as possible, ensuring that the account team has input and client approval on time and on message alongside drafting more complex written materials (data, news gen creation, op eds).

The PR Manager / Communications Manager will develop relationships with journalists and managing existing relationships.

Working closely with the Group Communications Director, the PR Manager / Communications Manager will develop a robust international speaking and judging programme.
