Corporate reputation and advocacy agency with offices in Oxford and Brussels is looking for a senior client lead (Associate / Senior Associate) to join their team, in either a 6-month contract capacity or permanent, this will very much depend on the suitable candidates’ availability.
Working with one core client initially and others as and when, you will be responsible for a large piece of business that sits in the agricultural tech space with pillars that cover sustainability, energy and clean technology. This client is a global leader in its field, striving to enhance and develop better ways of working, for the agricultural industry. Climate change and of course, now the pandemic, both have huge impacts on this industry and with the use of technology and smart initiatives, the world is hoping this extremely important sector will continue to thrive.
Reporting into their MD, who is ex London global consultancy, your remit will be to direct, and project manage on-going integrated campaigns and workflows which has a particularly strong social and digital remit. Corporate comms is equally a key skill set that is a must have for this role. Day to day will require content development, amending and advising on appropriate content and the tone of voice of all messaging, whilst managing a team of social and copywriting experts below, you will be the corporate comms specialist in place to provide strategic counsel and direction to your client. It is crucial that you have experience of working with multi-faceted businesses and have the skills to drive forward complex situations.
Understanding the various social platforms that will be the voice for the brand and business, is absolutely imperative and being able to counsel the client (s) equally so. Your thought leadership will be valued, and you will be a key player in the larger outreach of the business.
Ideally you will have a mix of experience including in-house and agency, FTSE 500 clients, global comms and a final must have; social and digital expertise and insight. Corporate communications is equal with experience of crisis comms and an understanding of financial comms a bonus.
The agency is a small--medium sized business, who have a strong work-life balance and support all of their employees’ individual needs. This position, whether contract or perm, will be flexible working / WFH, and only when the office returns, may require one day a week in the office. This however is not yet confirmed, therefore this position could suit anyone based across the UK.
