External Communications Manager – Sustainability (6 month contract)

£60000 – £70000 plus bonus and benefits

f1 Recruitment is currently partnering with one the most well known names in Retail, that are moving through a positive business transformation.  To recruit an External Communication Manager for Sustainability.

Within this post, you will lead the sustainability campaign communications and activity, helping them to reach and engage with their multiple partners. The role spans proactive campaigns to build relevancy and manage issues to protect reputation, including ethical supply, animal welfare, inclusion & diversity, and plastics.

It is essential you will either already have considerable experience in-house for a consumer facing business or relevant agency experience (ideally working with a retailer or FMCG brand) and able to demonstrate the ability and experience to start fast and quickly immerse yourself in an organisation, swiftly building a network of contacts and delivering at pace.  Your background will also include issues and crisis management, as well as of working on insights led-campaigns.
