£38-£45k + pension + package.  We’re seeking a PR Manager for a rapidly growing organisation who develop, commercialise and operate advanced high-value strategic infrastructure facilities across the globe.  Based in central London, but with facilities around the UK, one of their aims is to address the worldwide demand for safe, secure and environmentally-sensitive energy storage.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to progress from a Press Officer role to PR Manager or an established PR Manager looking for fresh challenges.  You will be a self-starter and be skilled at creating and delivering proactive, positive media coverage with a proven track record of handling all Press Office functions and of managing UK and international media relations.  You will have a strong understanding of media channels and experience of building strong relationships with journalists.  You will be skilled at managing relationships with business stakeholders, influencers and third parties and possess excellent influencing, writing and interpersonal skills.  This is a varied role for a PR Manager with no two days the same.

The Role of PR Manager

  • Take full responsibility for the Group’s Press Office function.
  • Provide support in communicating the corporate image.
  • Writing and editing high quality press releases.
  • Internal Communications.
  • Media relations and media monitoring.
  • Create engaging content and ongoing brand communications.
  • Work closely with the C-Suite and senior leadership team.
  • Develop and execute local, regional, national and international corporate PR strategies.

As a PR Manager you will Ideally have a background in corporate communications and ideally energy, construction or infrastructure however other sectors will be considered. You will have an interest in sustainability.
