We are looking for a Project Manager to join our medical division working across a variety of client projects. 

The Role

This role will include taking the project lead on our pharmaceutical client projects. Therefore an entrepreneurial attitude and knowledge of HCP compliance regulations is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of project managing a variety of projects, including live and virtual events for pharmaceutical clients, working within a medical agency in an events or account management role, and have experience of electronic approval systems such as Veeva Promomats.

Experienced in client relationship management you will be required to deliver and market virtual event solutions, e-learning programmes and a variety of projects within budget and contribute to the preparation of proposals for the client, in partnership with the commercial and events teams. Communication skills are pivotal to the role; you will be responsible for the interpretation and delivery of the client’s brief. You may be required to travel for the duration of any live events. An ability to stay calm under pressure in the presence of clients is critical. This is a vital client services role to demonstrate an outstanding customer service delivery that will enable us to deliver projects on time, recognise revenue, and encourage repeat business.

Working within the client services team you will work closely with the medical editorial/content, marketing, events and commercial teams and ensure all teams are working to deliver to client expectations.The role will provide you with knowledge of our clients and business and offers a fantastic opportunity for career development in project and account management.

The projects undertaken are many and varied spanning multiple therapeutic areas and disciplines. Haymarket Medical delivers digital and live learning activities via the Haymarket medical brands. 

 

Qualities / Experience

  • Experience of project management of medical meetings and projects in an agency environment is essential
  • Maintaining key client, stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong financial acumen, planning and organisation, productivity
  • Self-motivated, professional and detail-oriented, with an enthusiastic desire to continuously learn, evolve and innovate
  • Management of client approvals, including experience of approval management technology, such as Veeva Promomats
  • Deadline and target driven
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to travel
