Senior Consultant / Account Director

This is a brilliant opportunity for a corporate communications specialist to join a fast-growing, award-winning agency, and work across a range of issues-rich reputation challenges for leading global clients.

You will be part of a high-achieving and expanding team working across a number of first-class client accounts, in sectors spanning FMCG, healthcare, life sciences, environment, technology and agriculture.

Working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, you will have a varied remit across strategic integrated and creative campaigns, media relations, digital and social communications, policy and sustainability, and crisis and issues management.

The agency is based in Oxford but location is flexible for this role. They have hybrid-working and are looking for someone in the office circa 2 days per week.  

Key responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationships with clients and manage financial aspects of client accounts and project delivery
• Ensure effective communication of project briefs to the internal team and mentor junior colleagues
• Contribute to the development of strategic communications and campaign planning
• Manage social media accounts (including management of paid media campaigns)
• Content creation across channels – including social media, websites, and traditional media (press releases, articles, opinion editorials etc)
• Involvement in new business proposals and pitching

Key requirements:

• Experience working in corporate communications in a communications agency
• Track record of managing client teams and work
• Comfortable using multiple digital and social media platforms and analytics tools
• Excellent time management skills and an ability to multitask and prioritise
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
