Their most successful app is the number 1 app worldwide in its category, with around 30 million monthly active users and 200 million downloads. They partner with Marvel, Disney and Warner Brothers to provide entertainment, mindfulness and inspiration to people of all age groups and interests.
The Head of PR role
Due to its continued success, the company is now looking for a Head of PR, primarily to focus on their most succesful app. This is a brand new role for the business, so there's a lot of creative freedom, autonomy and chance to make a real impact.
The Head of PR will report into the Head of Marketing, and work closely with the wider in house marketing team of four. The ultimate purpose of the role is to drive customer acquisition via earned and owned media, rather than their current paid advertising, predominantly in the UK and US. There's the opportunity and financial backing to grow a PR team as well as hire external PR agencies for support.
What they're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience working in PR for a gaming or mobile app company, either agency side or in house
- Strong media relations experience
- Ability to think strategic as well as be comfortable in execution and deliver
- The desire to grow and manage a team
The salary for the Head of PR is very flexible, depending on the right person, but likely to be between £50k and £80k, depending on experience.
