Interim Senior Comms Manager - one of the most respected hospitality companies in the world

My client is one of the most respected hospitality companies in the world. It is looking for a talented Senior Communications Manager for a 12-13 month maternity cover contract. Ideally they'd love someone in place by the middle of October, but there may be some flex on that.

As a guide the package is c.£70k plus bonus and benefits.

You will part of an EMEA comms which plays an integral role in the company’s storytelling - with a strong focus on growth, inclusivity and purpose.

The key here is flexibility. The team spans corporate comms and more consumer focused work, so this person needs to be able to stretch across both, depending on priority portfolio areas. That means access to activity across corporate responsibility, hotel openings, executive profiling and crisis and issues management. As well as showcasing the company as a leader in innovation, environmental and social responsibility, and why it sits at the top of the list of best places to work.

Undoubtedly it’s been a rough road for companies in this sector but with that comes exposure to the highest profile issues and reputational challenges. In addition the business has a major growth pipeline in place, and the reality that there has never been a greater need to promote travel and hospitality. As a major global business it has always maintained a refreshing attitude of “Yes let’s make that happen”, rather than “No we can’t do that."
