The Digital Communications Officer is an integral part of the London Assembly Communications team. Working with colleagues and elected politicians, you will raise awareness and understanding of the value of the role of the Assembly with all Londoners. You will need to be a highly motivated communicator with an active approach to relationship building and identifying opportunities for the Assembly to showcase its work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the digital communications strategy for the London Assembly
  • Deliver effective engagement plans to strengthen the Assembly’s reputation with Londoners
  • Identify key issues and help to promote our work to an increasing audience

This role will be based at City Hall. The Mayor has announced that City Hall will be relocating from More London (London Bridge) to the Crystal Building in the Royal Docks. These roles will be based at The Crystal Building (from January 2022). Further information on the relocation announcement, can be found here.

This job is ‘politically restricted’ under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989
