An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kent Police’s Corporate Communications team at the force’s headquarters in Northfleet.

Applications are invited from individuals who have experience in digital, internal communications and marketing, for an excellent opportunity of leading a team providing a high-quality service for the force.

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to lead and develop the strategy on traditional and digital means of communication for the Force. This role will manage and deliver short and medium term plans, working with the Director of Corporate Communications to develop and deliver long term aims and objectives for Digital, Internal Communications and Marketing, also working closely with the Head of Press Office to ensure corporate consistency, to maintain the provision of a high quality service for the force.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of strategic digital communications, risk management and marketing. They will provide clear strategic direction for internal and change communications, ensuring sound frameworks for communications planning and delivery. Knowledge of policing is a desirable but not essential.

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience to lead a team of communication professionals.
