In order to address any business or reputational issues they may have, this company aims to create long-lasting high impact moments that will make audiences notice and value an organisation. This company is not limited by catergorisations like consumer, corporate or digital, teams will have specialists in social, digital, traditional media relations, content creation, geopolitical intelligence, organisational change, internal comms and issues management to reach the target audience with the right message. 

The Role 

An account manager or senior account manager within this company is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to their clients and plays a pivotal role in managing client’s day-to-day plans and project-based scopes of work. They set high standards and play a key role in monitoring the quality of work and ensuring agreed timelines are met. They also play a key role in supporting junior team members’ development, whilst senior members of the team play a key role in ensuring the account manager or senior account manager's career development. As this company deals with a wide range of issues that are often multi-dimensional, multi-market and multi-stakeholder, they value candidates who can work across a variety of sectors and disciplines and who are intellectually curious, creative, collaborative and eager to learn.

Skills and Experience

  • Around 3-7 years’ experience in a communications role
  • Interest and previous experience in risk, issues & crisis management, either preparedness or live response
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and act on them without being directed
  • Experience offering client counsel at the appropriate level, basing recommendations on a good understanding of client’s business and sector 
  • Ability and appetite to challenge a brief
  • Strong project management skills
  • Appetite to build their own skills and knowledge
