Want to join an award-winning Inhouse social media team?  This outstanding comms team for a leading travel/transport brand is on the hunt for a Head of Social Media.

Ideally you will be entrepreneurial in spirit, can inspire with original social media ideas, inject creativity into cool content and design truly great campaigns. Working closely with the tradition PR and Comms team you will head up a team of 6 social media advisors and be responsible for developing robust, creative and award-winning social media strategies that drive engagement via all their channels.

This role is being offer on a hybrid working model c 3 days a week in either their central London, York or Edinburgh locations.

Key skills:

  • Excellent social media experience primarily organic but knowledge of paid social is desirable. 
  • Experience of developing and delivering B2C or corp-sumer social media campaigns is essential - ideal sector expertise - travel, retail, transport though big brand experience will be considered, 
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a social media function
  • Ideation and creative leadership
  • Expert knowledge of content and social technology across all social channels
  • Able to lead a creative and dynamic team to produce social media benefits for all audiences
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Experience of managing crisis and issues based comms via social media especially twitter is highly desirable.
