Public Affairs Officer
Job ref: PAO
Salary:
circa £30,000
Location: Office based, London SE1 - but ability to work 2-3 days from home
Hours: 35 hours per week

With a local network/charity in almost every English county, this organisation promotes, enhances and protects the countryside for everyone’s benefit, wherever they live.

As public affairs officer, you will support the development and delivery of this charity’s public affairs activities, raising their profile, improving their reputation and increasing their influence among policymakers.

You will already have some experience in a public affairs role, ideally in the charity, environment, or planning sector. This charity’s campaigns are both responsive and proactive, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must.

They are looking for someone with a real passion and energy for public affairs, with the ability to work across teams and with colleagues across their network of local groups. The successful candidate will enjoy a busy and varied approach to their work, being able to balance a number of competing priorities.

This charity places high value on equality. They treat everyone with respect and consideration because they know it’s the right thing to do. They also know that diverse teams make much better decisions, are more creative and more stimulating to work in. So, if you join them, you will be able to help them put equality, the environment and diversity at the centre of everything they do.

They hope you like the sound of the job and will take the time to apply!

Closing date: Midday on Tuesday 9 November 2021
Interviews: Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 November 2021
