NEW Marketing and Communications Manager with a leading digital transformation, products and services practice in central London.

Their focus is to highlight how digital / tech can transform and improve our lives. The work is very purpose-driven and impactful. 

The new Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for the organisation as a whole, but will also have a strong focus on their charitable app, and products therein. 

You’ll use your strong communication abilities to connect with individuals and organisations to increase the adoption of their charity service, and become known in the sector as a trusted member of the charitable fundraising community. 

You’ll draw on the expertise of your colleagues across research, design, and engineering to create and manage a marketing and communications strategy to help them reach and support more charities to raise more funds to do brilliant things.

You will also be responsible for promoting the organisation as a whole, getting their name out there so more people know what they are doing and the positive impact they are making. 

About the role:

As the lead for the organisation and charity app's marketing and communications efforts, you’ll have considerable freedom to determine your priorities based on your expertise, the ambitions for the products, and the needs of their users. However, you can expect to (this is very flexible and we can adjust depending on you and your experience and what you want to do with the role):

  • Develop key messages, lead on creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent language and terminology across all media;
  • Develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches to help market and position them; 
  • Design and develop creative communication and marketing products – presentations, blog posts, social media campaigns, etc;
  • Monitor and respond to support requests from current and prospective users in order to help meet their immediate concerns whilst understanding where their communications and marketing efforts need to be iterated in order to provide better information and reduce support requests; 
  • Plan and implement direct marketing approaches including targeting, personalisation of messages and measurability; data analysis, customer profiling and segmentation; 
  • Report on and analyse all aspects of communications and marketing, and ensure effective evaluation mechanisms are in place to measure success; 
  • Ensure the brand meets expectations through monitoring marketing trends and user and partner feedback;
  • Manage the mailing lists; 
  • To lead, manage and plan key organisational marketing and communications initiatives and campaigns; 
  • To carry out market research and needs analysis on key audiences.
