SENIOR ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR | Consumer brands, Sustainability, Purpose led

A fantastic career changing opportunity for a Consumer Senior Associate Director (or potentially Director level) to run a client portfolio crammed with purpose-led and community impacting campaigns across DE&I, climate change forums, ESG, influential social networks, sustainability.

This PR agency is on the hunt for a Senior Associate Director or Director with a solid corporate citizenship background, leading storytelling for consumer client portfolio. You should have solid experience at telling CSR and company related stories in a creative and engaging way, encompassing experience in sustainability and diversity, as well as experience in leading event activations at a global/regional level.

The Role:

• A trusted adviser to C-suite executives, providing senior level strategic counsel and insight, guidance and creativity

• Lead client teams
• Champion the importance of the client relationship and ensuring execution of day-to-day client work
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to coordinate and oversee several projects across multiple teams/regions
• Manage client budgets and take proactive steps to meet key financial targets, ensuring revenue growth and team profitability
• Prepare strategic and operational business plans to deliver growth across the team
• Plan and drive organic growth on client business and for new business development, networking and marketing activities
• Focus efforts on developing and enhancing the skills and capabilities of the team
• Play an active role within the leadership team of the practice 

Skills:

• Corporate comms bias and proven CSR experience within the consumer sector
• Strategic thinker who understands business and communications challenges and can develop smart, insight-driven strategies
• Purpose driving storyteller with proven expertise sustainability, DE&I, community and governance – with a keen eye for and deep interest in media trends within this space
• A proven record of winning new business and leading and growing a profitable portfolio of clients
• Proven counsellor in the C-suite and at senior corporate affairs/marketing director levels 
• Dynamic and proven team leader and mentor
• Creative and curious – always looking from new ideas and offering great creative ideas to bring stories to life
• Progressive, growth mind-set – interested in evolving communications and the role of PR within the marketing mix; willingness to adopt new approaches and technologies
