A leading travel PR consultancy is seeking a highly organised Account Director to working on an enviable luxury client portfolio.  

This travel PR agency has an exceptional industry reputation for working on some of the most recognized names in luxury hospitality. They do high profile media campaigns exceptionally well. On any given day you could be running a press trip, overseeing an integrated comms campaign for a hotel launch, or drumming up creative ideas that get your clients seen in leading publications like FT How to Spend it, Telegraph Luxury, Forbes etc. Reporting into an Associate Director, and managing an AE and AM, this Account Director role will play a critical senior role in helping to shape the future of the agency as it diversifies from travel into a broader luxury lifestyle arena.

Key responsibilities for the Account Director:

  • Driving new business by playing an active role in the pitch process and sourcing leads
  • Strategic ownership of the client relationships and confidently delivering senior level counsel
  • Drafting scope of work, leading on media strategy and ensuring growth of accounts YoY by ensuring KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Talent development of more junior team members by building close relationships and motivating them
  • Maintaining relationships with influential journalists, influencers, talent managers and celebrities
  • Regularly attending networking events to grow industry contacts

The ideal Account Director will:

  • Be either a specialist in travel PR or luxury lifestyle PR
  • Be working at Senior Account Manager level looking for a step up OR a newly promoted Account Director seeking new opportunities
  • Be commercially astute with a strong understanding of account profitability and new business
  • Be confident and adaptable in dealing with demanding senior level stakeholders
  • An inspiring and empathetic leader who enjoys team management and development

What the Account Director will get in return:

  • Salary of up to circa 45,000 depending on experience
  • Dedicated training and personal development budget
