The Head of PR role
Originally starting as a digital agency, they're now looking to be more disruptive in PR & communications, so they're hiring a brand new Head of PR to help this evolution. Their existing PR team is already doing very well, but focuses predominantly on digital PR, so the new Head of PR will be key in helping them on their journey to becoming a key player within the broader PR / comms space.
The Head of PR will likely be client facing on some key accounts, providing strategic and creative insight and advice, and helping with any client issues. However the main focus of this role is team leadership - they've grown very quickly and they need an experienced PR to set the rhythm of the team, develop processes, and ensure profitability. Whilst you will have oversight on new business, it won't be a core focus for this role.
Key experience required:
- Senior level consumer PR experience in an agency environment
- Experience managing large teams
- An inspirational leader, able to motivate, develop and energise individuals
- A solid understanding of how a PR agency operates and works, with the ability to set and shape processes
You can be based in either London or Manchester and they typically operate on a hybrid model (3 days a week in the office, 2 days at home). In terms of salary, they're looking around £70k - £80k and benefits include:
- Unlimited holidays
- Mental health and wellbeing programmes
- Unlimited coaching
- Enhanced parental policies
