Director of Marketing Operations

Overview:

    Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will collaborate with other teams/divisions, driving the marketing planning process, alignment and reporting, driving performance improvements in marketing strategies, programs, campaigns and investments. Responsible for developing the marketing operations strategy for the company, optimising people, processes, platforms and investments to achieve the commercial goals, through the promotion of best practices, marketing frameworks, processes and embedding effective use of technology, data and insights. Optimising processes, developing effective, agile, innovative ways of working and optimises usage of platforms and tools, embedding efficiency and effectiveness across the marketing community.

Some key things they need from this person: 

  • They are looking for someone who has great curiosity, excellent at building strong relationships, has innovative ideas and brilliant at influencing and persuading teams and stakeholders. 
     
  • Extensive experience driving change, developing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement. 
     
  • You must have global marketing experience, and work at a matrix organisation. 


Knowledge and experience required:

    Extensive experience in Marketing Operations role, driving campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency. Extensive experience with marketing technologies, CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation, Workflow and other solutions (e.g. Episerver, Digisuit, Pardot, Workfront, SF, Google Analytics, Adwords, FB Ads, GoToWebinar etc). Strong analytical, reporting, forecasting, ROI, planning, organising and programme management skills. Experience in using agile ways of working to implement capabilities to drive efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing. Balance of strategic vision and agile tactical execution. Proven experience of change management and organisational transformation. Strong team player, inspire and motivate cross functional teams with a unified direction and vision. Evidence of strong leadership with experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising, coaching and appraising marketing communications teams.
Skills and Abilities:

    MS suite, reporting, presentations, communication. Expertise in marketing techniques, tools, channels, platforms and technologies. Strong entrepreneurial, strategic, analytical, organizational and creative skills. Strong collaboration skills, leading cross functional teams, able to influence across complex, matrix structured organisations, globally. Strong oral and written, communications skills.
