Responsibilities

    • Work closely with global Marketing team based in Philadelphia and Sales executives in the UK to deliver effective and impactful PR in a highly competitive, complex landscape supporting core business development objectives, including partnership opportunities to build brand and company-wide reputation
    • Act as a liaison between the communications and practice-group marketing teams to funnel information and uncover new themes and opportunities for innovative internal and external communications in the UK/Europe
    • Partner with Global Marketing professionals on key communications initiatives, guidelines, standards, and policies
    • Ensure that the firm’s highest editorial standards are consistently maintained
    • Liaise with FreedomPay’s PR agency firms (US) to enable seamless flow of information, logistical planning, and positioning to optimize results from timely sharing of achievements and comment
    • Work on tight deadlines with multiple partner groups to gain approval on announcements, award submissions, social media interactions and thought leadership opportunities to raise awareness of FreedomPay for internal and external audiences – established and new
    • Earn and build responsibility and respect as the trusted go-to lead PR professional across both business and litigation department leadership teams

Requirements

    • 4-5+ years’ work experience, preferably in financial services or fintech with the proven ability to operate at an elevated level in terms of scope of responsibility, judgement and autonomy
    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Project management skills
    • Ability to travel, as required
