About the Media Relations Manager role:

As a Media Relations Manager, you will develop and deliver a strategy that amplifies the company's reputation internationally. Critically you will be able to identify and nurture relationships with key media contacts and enhance the company’s position as a thought-leader in the renewable energy space.

You role as Media Relations Manager will require experience designing and executing highly impactful media campaigns, preferably within a purpose-led company with complex stories to tell.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

• Lead and plan, develop and execute high-quality media relations campaigns
• Build and mange relations with media, journalists, as well as other key industry contacts
• Produce interesting and informative press-releases and media pitches, coordinate and attend media interviews and events
• Manage issues and crisis communications situations
• Lead on proactive and reactive media and stakeholder relations programmes
• Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for media interviewees and brand ambassadors within the firm, at all levels
• Organise specialist training for those who are in regular contact with the media
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and offer recommendations regarding communications strategies
