A leading destination PR agency is seeking an exceptional Account Manager with B2B experience to join its growing team.

The work this agency does is centred around driving interest and buzz around the launch of a new destination or district. Working mostly on a project basis, its clients are multi-million-pound entities such as commercial and residential developments, neighbourhood regeneration projects, arts and culture districts, retail centres and local authorities. The work is dynamic and interesting - this Account Manager role is best suited to an all-rounder who likes variety in their work.

The Account Manager's responsibilities

  • Supporting AD by drafting and delivering multi-channel PR strategies, plans and timelines and budgets for client projects
  • Overseeing the development of press materials, including key messages, press packs, press releases and fact sheets
  • Overseeing and leading on media relations for sell-ins and feature pitching and thought leadership
  • Day-to-day management of junior team members to ensure they set and meet objectives, as well as project managing various teams on accounts

This is an excellent role for an ambitious SAE or Account Manager that is looking for a step up into more responsibility or a newly promoted Account Manager looking for a new challenge. It is well suited to someone who has had strong B2B experience with some regional or national media experience. You should ideally come from a built environment i.e. property, retail or leisure background and be familiar with the media and issues facing these industries.  You MUST have experience with managing junior team members.

In return the Account Manager gets

  • Salary of up to £42,000
