Barboni Strategies is a dynamic and rapidly growing communications agency. We specialise in delivering agile, data-driven campaigns for industry-leading multinational corporate clients and their leaders including a global management consultancy, tech companies, litigation lawyers and their clients, and asset management firms.

We’re looking for exceptional candidates to oversee client delivery and to work closely with the leadership team to continue to grow the business.

We are currently hiring for two Account Manager positions. One role would focus primarily on leading our work with a portfolio of clients in the digital and advanced industries sectors. An understanding of these sectors and experience working within them is beneficial but not required.

The other would focus primarily on clients in the finance industry, with an additional geographic emphasis on supporting clients in Asia. As with the above, experience working in these sectors and geographies is beneficial but not required.

    We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 6 years of communications experience, with a focus on digital communications strategy and an ability to analyse and derive insights from data to drive outcomes for clients.

  • Has strong writing and copyediting skills with an ability to synthesise complex information into multiple pieces of content across platforms to drive thought leadership campaigns.

  • Has significant, proven client management experience and knows how to implement rigorous quality assurance practices across multiple projects.

  • Is an excellent project manager with an ability to motivate teams to work together to deliver for clients.

  • Thrives in an agency or a similarly fast-paced corporate environment with multiple simultaneous project deadlines.

  • Is meticulously organised, with an extremely high level of attention to detail, and who knows how to bring out the same in others.

  • Prizes efficiency and is constantly exploring new ways to improve processes.

  • Wants to be part of building a dynamic and growing agency, and who understands what that entails.

  • Understands how to drive revenue growth and business development with both existing and potential clients.

  • Has uncompromising standards for personal integrity and demonstrates strong initiative and personal drive to succeed.

  • Has common sense and a solution-oriented mindset, and can communicate effectively and without ambiguity with teams and clients.

  • Bounces back from mistakes and learns from feedback.


Here’s what you would be doing:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of private-sector clients across a range of industries (see details above); ensuring that delivery for those clients remains at an exceptionally high standard.

  • Managing day-to-day client relationships, in close coordination with the CEO and the broader team.

  • Providing strategic direction and oversight for projects, constantly looking for new opportunities to deliver impact.

  • Managing the execution of digital and strategic communications campaigns.

  • Constantly staying on top of new digital strategies and tools, bringing innovative ideas to clients and keeping the team at the top of their game.

  • Writing content for clients, at a standard that could be delivered to the CEO of a Fortune 100 company with minimal edits required.

  • Reviewing all communications output on behalf of your clients, including copyediting and providing feedback on the work of junior team members.

  • Overseeing reporting for clients, reviewing monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports and project-based reports developed by the team.

  • Working closely with the CEO and COO to drive business development and revenue growth.

  • Managing a network of freelancers, including designers, developers, video editors, and copywriters.

English language fluency, excellent data analysis and strong writing skills are essential.


Work Permission

You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.



Up to £55,000 annual salary dependent on experience, an annual performance-based bonus, a commission for new business, and an incentive structure based on the company’s growth.
