Head of Membership, Marketing & Communications
Salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
London based but hybrid working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Membership, Marketing & Communications to join a leading Construction Association in the UK. This not-for-profit member-based, research organisation has for over 60 years been delivering support and good practice guidance to the construction, built environment and infrastructure sectors. Its members include representatives from all parts of the supply chains of the modern built environment, covering building and civil engineering, as well as transport and utilities infrastructure. This role has line management responsibility, is part of the senior management team and reports into the CEO. There are huge changes and developments across the built environment and infrastructure sectors, and this is a key role offering the successful candidate the opportunity to help deliver and develop services and influence within the industry.
Your responsibilities will cover three key business areas:
Member recruitment and retention
Leading strategy and planning for member recruitment and retention across all memberships. Responsibility for setting the standard for CIRIA’s member and customer experience.
Commercial development and external engagement
Identifying and developing both new and existing revenue streams; actively delivers targeting, lead generation, business development and conversion activity for key membership products.
Developing sponsorship strategy and plans and working closely with the research team to raise funding for project work.
