About Account Manager/Director Role:

As Account Manager/Consultant or Director you will be help your clients to grow their businesses by creating high impact media campaigns, award-winning thought leadership and industry-leading debate through events and broadcast media.

Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager / Director Role: 

   As Account Manager/ Consultant / Director you will:

  • Be the client leader on all day-to-day communications with your clients
  • Help your clients to join the dots between their businesses and what is happening around them in the marketplace. This could be an opportunity for their business, or a threat posed
  • Engage with a variety of journalists and be across the relevant media every day
  • At short notice, write press releases, columns, and articles plus responsive analysis
  • Manage your clients’ social media accounts
  • Getting under the skin of your clients, to establish/confirm their strategic goals
  • Drive the account activity according to the agreed PR plan and proactively identify PR opportunities for your clients, managing their social media accounts

The Ideal Account Manage/Director:

This role could suit someone who is currently an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager either within an agency or in house, who is looking for more autonomy and responsibility in their role, in an extraordinarily successful business with access to truly FTSE 100 clients.

You will have a track-record of placing great copy and stories to tight deadlines, have corporate media relations experience, be passionate about learning something new and developing your career.

To quickly become a successful Account Manager/Consultant and productive member of the business, you will need to be focused, calm and professional. Be ambitious to become an industry expert, educated to degree level and relevant work experience or professional qualifications.

Experience as an Account Manager within a PR Agency, Management Consultancy, Planning Consultancy or think tank, with the ability to work in a demanding environment, managing projects to tight deadlines.
