Senior Account Executive / Junior Account Manager - Drinks

Are you passionate about Food & Drink? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Executive or Junior Account Manager to join a full-service, award-winning specialist drinks PR agency.

This role is the ideal opportunity for a results-driven Senior Account Executive or Junior Account Manager with experience in the Food, Drink, and/or Lifestyle sectors to join a close-knit team. Working with well-known drinks and retail brands, this role offers fantastic exposure to client work and a senior management team.

The role will be hands on, covering everything from sourcing press samples to forging strong relationships with key drinks media. This agency has a brilliant culture, providing a great environment in which to work. This role would suit an experienced PR with a passion for the drinks sector. 

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing client programmes 
• Proactive and reactive press activities – writing press releases, formulating quotes for trade press features, responding to press enquiries and generating coverage for clients
• Organising and attending press briefings, dinners, press trips etc.
• General account management duties including drafting activity and contact reports
• Assisting on new business development including brainstorms and pitches 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in PR, ideally within the Food & Drink sectors
• Am understanding of the UK wine industry, its challenges and key issues, and the role drinks plays within lifestyle
• High level of written and verbal communications skills with a proven record of producing press releases for all sectors of the media 
• Flexibility, creativity, and excellent organisational skills
• High motivation and enthusiasm for the drinks industry
