A specialist food & drink PR agency in London is looking to take on a Senior Social Media Executive to work on exciting drink brand.

About the food & drink PR agency

This small-but-mighty PR agency looks after some of the coolest food & drink brands. As an integrated food & drink PR agency the work they do spans both traditional public relations but also big events, brand partnerships, digital and organic social campaigns, as well as creative influencer-led campaigns - they do it all and they do it well. After winning some new digital briefs, they are looking for a talented Senior Social Media Executive to work mainly on an innovative CBD drink brand doing a mix of content creation and community management. You will also get to work on a few other food & drink brands too.

Key responsibilities Senior Social Media Executive role:

  • Market research and evaluation of what food & drinks brand competitors are doing on digital channels
  • Develop content strategy across channels for each calendar month in line with key seasonal hooks and events
  • Drafting engaging captions and written content for social channels of different food & drink brands
  • Monitoring direct messages and social media complaints and responding to these in line with company tone of voice
  • Helping to develop brand tone of voice on social media and working within these guidelines
  • Use social listening tools to measure and evaluate performance of posts

The ideal Senior Social Media Executive:

  • Minimum of circa 18 months solid social media, PR or marketing experience working on consumer brands
  • Currently working at Social Media Executive level looking to step into Senior Social Media Executive level
  • Ideally has experience working with food & drink brands
  • Agency experience - either from a creative, PR, marketing or advertising company - would be advantageous but would also consider someone from an in-house brand background  
  • Must be confident developing content calendars and thinking up tactical plans for ongoing content, ideally for food & drink brands
  • Creative with some experience using photoshop, InDesign or similar programmes
  • Previous experience using social listening and scheduling tools

What the Senior Social Media Executive return:

  • Salary of up to circa £30,000
  • Up to 30 days holiday a year
  • Flexible working - 3 days at home and 2 days in the office
  • Summer and Christmas agency socials
  • Early Friday finish - 3pm
  • End of year bonus scheme
  • 'Self starter' culture with greater autonomy from a more junior level
