Job Details

Brand new role at an agency with creativity and entrepreneurialism in its DNA. The ideal place for someone that wants to work on great brands, but in a smaller agency where they can genuinely make a difference.

About the agency

Founded by a creative industry powerhouse, this agency of around 25 people has been shortlisted as a 'Best Place to Work' two years in a row thanks to its inclusive culture, personal development opportunities and approach to wellbeing. With a superb pitch-win ratio, their already impressive client portfolio has grown substantially and they're now hiring for several new positions across the business.

Despite being a smaller agency, they punch above their weight with their clients. Their current client list includes a very famous, globally known online marketplace, a leading wine brand, and a well known high street bank.

Culturally, the team is ambitious, nurturing and values integrity. They have never been and will never a sweat shop, they really care about individuals, and genuinely want them to progress, and they're not afraid to give true consultancy to clients (or to tell them no if they don't align with their own values).

Their fab offices in Soho are home three days a week, with the team able to work remotely twice a week - plus they have flexible working hours too.

The Strategy Director role

The new Strategy Director will report into the CEO as part of the newly formed creative team. The purpose of the role is to 'own' the strategy process across new and existing clients (50:50 split), as well as fostering strategic thinking amongst the team.

As a new function for the agency, the Strategy Director will be instrumental in the growth and development of the business, and will have a huge opportunity to make their mark. You should have senior level experience delivering integrated media relations, social, content and influencer campaigns for high profile consumer brands.

Experience

The ideal candidate would be an existing Associate Director that loves being strategic, and wants to move away from a traditional client / account role, and move into a more focused role. It's the perfect role for someone that loves creative PR, problem solving and developing ideas and plans, but doesn't love the operational side of running client accounts.

In return for the new Strategy Director

The basic salary for the Strategy Director is up to £80k plus the following benefits:

  • Potential for equity in the business
  • Flexible working hours (7.5 hours to be worked anytime between 7am and 7pm)
  • An out of hours no-email policy
  • 25 days holiday
  • A fund for creative ideas (inside and outside of work)
  • £1,000 training fund per person
  • Regular socials and internal awards
  • Pension and healthcare
