This is a unique opportunity to become the Senior Press Officer for the Conservative Members of the London Assembly. Leading and managing our small press team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-impact and comprehensive communications strategy and overseeing all facets of Members’ media output.

You must have strong political awareness and be able to respond to all manner of media enquiries in a prompt and professional manner. Experience of writing press releases and articles, using digital media platforms, and dealing with senior politicians and journalists is vital. You will need a pro-active approach to media coverage and experience in both national and local media, including specialist press.

This role will be based at City Hall, in the Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE).  GLA staff are hybrid working in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
