Essentially operating in the corporate space, the MD wants to hire a strategically-minded Associate Director (or an exceptional Senior Account Director), with expertise across consumer brands and major corporates. Typically you might classify yourself a ‘corpsumer’ specialist, but whatever the shorthand, you should be able to cut across a range of communication disciplines and markets as trusted client adviser and designer of clever campaigns.
You should have experience and aptitude in the management of teams, the ability to take the lead on complex programmes and provide high-level counsel to clients. As number two in the team, you would be expected to help deliver new business, whilst maintaining a big picture strategic view of existing client business. The consultancy has a roster of long-term clients and a reputation for combining high levels of creativity with the finest strategic thinking.
