Content Development Manager role at specialist tech PR agency

Key responsibilities for the Content Development Manager

  • Deliver engaging content on budget for clients including press releases, blogs, creative website copy, articles, thought leadership pieces, newsletters, case studies etc.
  • Develop content strategy aligned with client objectives
  • Collaborate with account teams to advise on the role of content in campaigns in brainstorms and throughout client projects
  • Counsel clients on the optimisation of online content i.e SEO, backlinks etc
  • Where necessary commission freelancers to support on content development
  • Contribute to client scope of work and financials

The Ideal Content Development Manager

  • Minimum of 3 years communications experience - agency or in-house
  • Confident writer, able to distill technical information into compelling content
  • Experience with B2B tech would be advantageous or an interest in emerging tech
  • Commercial awareness, perhaps with experience managing budgets
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborative and good relationship builder
  • Demonstrable experience developing content for multiple channels

What the Content Development Manager gets in return:

  • Salary of circa £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience
  • 20 days holiday + bank holiday + days between Christmas and NY off
  • Eligibility for annual company bonus scheme
