£70k-£100k - We have partnered with an International strategic advisory boutique agency based in Europe, the United States and the Middle East who are now expanding their London office and are seeking a Communications Director to lead the strategic direction on one major account.
Although this role is agency side, it is similar to being in-house. You will manage an external London PR agency and have a team of consultants working solely with one major client. Part of your role will be to work with private and institutional representatives/talents from the middle east, providing them with opportunities to speak on high-level UK platforms, be it through the press, corporations, KOLs, think tanks, cultural institutions or circles of influence. You'll also give an international resonance and raise awareness about new social/positive impact projects that embody change, education and inspiration across Sport, Tourism, Music & Entertainment, Gastronomy, Entrepreneurism and empowering women, and be-able to promote their younger generation of business leaders, sports people musicians etc.
The role
- Daily coordination of communication and PR agencies on behalf of the client.
- Managing client relationship.
- Building relationships with partners, opinion leaders, influencers and service providers.
- Promoting of activities and Youth and individuals in the Music & Entertainment, Gastronomy, Sport, Tourism and Entrepreneurial sectors.
- Benchmarking and mapping and competitive intelligence.
- Managing and mentoring a team.
You will have a strong agency background, and good understanding of youth culture, and Gen Z/Millennials, ideally experience within the middle east (but this is only advantageous), you will also have experience of building relationships with KOL’s in a variety of sectors. You will have the ability to forge excellent relationships with a strong network of allies (Corporations, KOLs, Think tanks, Cultural institutions, Circles of influence).
