About the role
We are looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager that has the depth of experience in all areas
of PR, however, the exciting opportunity with this role is that there is a focus on Sustainability
and Environmental topics. You will work within our corporate communications team and report to
the Head of Public Relations. Candidates will be responsible for promoting and articulating the
great track record Ferrero has within different areas of sustainability. You will be telling the story
around our sustainability projects, initiatives and successes, and incorporating this message
through different media channels.

Ideal candidates should have experience within PR. Whilst we are not requesting specific
experience in sustainability, we are looking for candidates that have a passion in this area and
wish to grow and develop their knowledge in this arena. Candidates should be skilled at
engaging with different media channels and effectively creating momentum and interest with
external audiences on our passion and activity around our corporate responsibility on this arena.

The role will have an internal focus also. Where you will be asked to work with various
stakeholders such as Brand Managers and Directors to support them further on our group
initiatives on sustainability and Ferrero’s strategy and goals. You will be a key point of contact
and knowledge in the UK and Ireland region on all things to do with sustainability.
Candidates can have experience in an in-house or agency of NGO backgrounds. But it is not just
the experience, we are looking for a real drive and passion that can be channelled to creatively
promote Ferrero’s sustainability initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
 Responsible for developing and executing leading communication campaigns aimed at
external audiences to raise awareness of our sustainability credentials at a corporate and
brand level.
 Support in development of strategies to exemplify our corporate storytelling campaign so
that we continue to enhance our reputation and drive growth.
 Identify and select the most appropriate channels, mechanics to engage with our external
audiences to tell our story; this includes a PESO model and also key opinion leaders.
 Formulate compelling PR narratives around key topics of sustainability (packaging,
climate and ingredients such as cocoa, palm oil). Narratives to clearly articulate how the
individual brands are following through on our ambitions.
 To monitor and report on sustainability developments, providing full and regular insight to
the business on PR areas.
 Collaborative working with internal stakeholders to build reputation and play a key role in
planning and delivering media activities for key campaigns in trading calendar.

What we are looking for:

 Experience in a similar role
 6-8 years in the PR arena
 Degree qualified
 Excellent written and communication skills
 Capable media handler that can build strong positive relationships with the
consumer groups
