JFL are recruit for a fantastic new role with a multinational professional services firm.  They are independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Through their work, they make a positive difference in the world!

Purpose of the role:

You’ll play a key role in helping shape and execute corporate communications campaigns that cut across the companies market facing portfolios such as Energy, Water and Resources; Cities, Planning and Design; Climate and Sustainability Services.   In this role, you will build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and press offices in other regions within the firm and ideally have strong national and trade media contacts across various vertical sectors including engineering, design, transport and energy. 

Skills required:
Good experience in public relations and issues management. Ideally, within a professional services, advisory or knowledge economy context. 

  • A good understanding/ experience of/ interest in the built environment and the transport sector  
  • Strong relationships with media (national and trade) across multiple sectors including, engineering and transport – relationships with media across water; infrastructure; planning; energy are a bonus 
  • Strong management skills and experience 
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritise, assess and manage PR and media relations activity across diverse business and service offering 
  • Excellent PR writing skills 
  • Excellent oral communication skills
