We are looking for a smart, ambitious, curious Senior Consultant (AD/SAD) who is keen to operate across business, philanthropy and politics. You will join a rapidly expanding strategic corporate comms agency that helps business leaders navigate the complexities of the economic and social landscape.

Working across cutting edge technology clients, many of them leading the way in the green revolution, financial services and businesses focussed on ESG, helping them to shape conversations and influence outcomes in the media, public policy and investment communities. Clients range from large publicly listed multinationals to fast growing companies and private individuals in the UK and internationally

You will work alongside some of the sharpest media and political minds in the business and be a trusted advisor to clients, making a strong strategic contribution to accounts and challenging internal thinking to deliver stand out corporate communications campaigns for clients.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute strategic, multidisciplinary and innovative communications strategies in partnership with senior colleagues.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and be able to advise and counsel
  • Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled practitioners
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts that help to deliver outcomes for clients and to grow the consultancy business.

Skills:

  • Background in a communications agency or in a in house or media comms role advising on business-critical issues.
  • Specialist sector interest and expertise in tech (including enterprise, mobile, CX, security, clean tech, fintech, blockchain, B2B and B2C) and Financial Services (including alternative investment sector, private equity, hedge funds and credit investment)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of junior colleagues and driving cross-stakeholder campaigns from brainstorm through to execution.
  • Excellent working knowledge of clients’ business, sector and issues – and able to identify when and how to adapt strategy according to external developments.
  • In-depth working knowledge of the media landscape in the UK and understanding of how to handle international media outlets.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with key sector journalists.
  • Strategic view of the wider digital landscape including social media platforms, content marketing and website development.
  • Skilled at presenting, including clients and in a pitch environment.
  • Proficient with communications platforms
