Office or Hybrid with occasional visits in Winchester and London. Willingness for occasional travel throughout UK.

Our client is a leading charity in their field, working for adults in the UK to improve their health. They work to eradicate a leading cause of premature death in the UK, with related deaths increasing by 400% over the past two generations.

They believe that public health is at a tipping point. By taking bold action themselves and with others, they will start to shift that balance towards a much healthier world. They are looking for an exceptional individual to support them on this journey and to directly contribute to change.

They are seeking a policy and public affairs professional to support existing work and lead on their advocacy with key regional and local stakeholders across the country and help improve outcomes and care for patients.

The role will:

- Be responsible for driving our client’s flagship campaign including engagement with Integrated Care Systems and developing relationships with key stakeholders to drive improvements in care for patients at a regional level

- Support the development and implementation of their national influencing agenda and campaigns - shaping and driving policy change

- Support their response to consultations and promote policy positions that improve outcomes for patients

- Represent our clients at external meetings.

- Contribute to their parliamentary work and engagement across the devolved nations

- Manage the political engagement with their awareness roadshow

The postholder will have the opportunity to influence the commissioning of services in the NHS to improve patient outcomes and care across the UK.

Our client is in a growth phase and they are keen to receive applications from candidates looking for a challenging role, which will make a real impact for patient outcomes and care.

If you would like to apply for the role, please select the apply button shown to send a covering letter and CV and let our client know why you are applying for the role. Please include:

- A covering letter explaining how your experience, skills and knowledge make you suitable for the role, with particular relevance to the job description

- An up to date CV, including 2 referees

Closing date: 5pm on Tuesday 16th August

Interviews: 24th and 25th August (there may be some flexibility on these dates if you are on annual leave – please indicate this when applying)
