Do you have a track record of delivering influential communication strategies in a PR role, whether agency or in house?   Do you have significant experience of managing a PR plan in a retail environment?   Do you have experience in integrating social media and digital marketing best practices to deliver integrated PR campaigns?   Our client in Hertfordshire is hiring an exceptional in-house PR Manager. They are a prestigious online retailer, with a rich heritage in an industry many of us love and a current community of over 145,000   They are looking for a talented PR professional either agency side (AM/SAM) or in-house equivalent with a passion and experience in food and drink, alcohol clients, hospitality and/or retail.   Salary: £44k DOE   One of our top clients and genuinely a fantastic business to work for are seeking an ambitious PR Manager. They have achieved impressive growth YoY, with ambitious plans to continue this over the next 5 years.   The Role:   The PR Manager sits within our client’s Brand and Content Team in Marketing (a team of 9). The role works with marketing (in particular campaigns) with our client’s Buyers and other spokespeople.   The role also works heavily with external stakeholders – press, influencers, contributors, media outlets and PR agencies.   They want someone to come in and see that customers and stakeholders see, understand, and appreciate our client’s unique values, ethos, purpose, and the quality of our client’s products.   Our client has a very engaged membership following and being able to lead and deliver an integrated PR strategy is crucial.   Responsibilities, skills and attributes
  • To develop and execute our client’s trade and consumer PR strategy and plan, including media relations, press events and awards submissions
  • Crisis and reputation management
  • Evolve our client’s PR approach to include application of digital, social, content and influencers
  • Lead the creation and implementation of PR activations – developing activity to support marketing campaigns, business strategy and sustainability
  • Coordinate the internal resource needed to deliver activity
  • Drive innovation in our client’s output and developing new approaches
  • Day to day agency management (two PR agencies)
  • Contribute live content for social media and the community
  • Drive the measurement and performance of PR, ensuring our client get great use and value from press coverage
