Brand new in-house Group Internal Communications and Change Management Lead position with global organisation. 

Our client is a leading global company providing sustainable solutions to agricultural and industrial customers around the world.

They have grown rapidly over the past few years and are now growing and enhancing their communications offering, both internally and externally. This is a brand new role, so an exciting time to be joining! 

They have been operating for c.10 years. Offices around the globe. Head offices in London with c.40 employees. 

They are looking for an experienced internal communications and change management professional with a creative approach and the knowledge gained from large and complex organizations to meet it.

Overview:

  • Title: Group Internal Communications and Change Management Lead 
  • Reporting into: Head of Corporate Communications. They also recently joined.
  • Salary: up to c.£80k-£85k+ depending on level and experience. We can discuss. + bonus and amazing benefits. 
  • Hybrid/Flexi working: The team go in c.2-3 times a week, sometimes less. They are super accommodating. They understand people have lives outside of work. 
  • Some international travel required to the US and Netherlands.

The type of person they need/are looking for: 

An experienced internal communications professional, who has led strategy and delivered change management communications in a large, complex organization.

Change management:

  • Specific change management experience: ideally managing communication around tech implementation or other modernization initiatives that significantly impact multiple job roles Experience working with HR and leadership to craft messages and create an integrated communications plan that creates an effective feedback loop Ability to evaluate the impact of change communications and provide feedback in a timely manner to support the transition project as a whole

General:

  • Communications experience: 8+ years of communications experience, including global/matrix organization strategy development
  • Stakeholder management and influence: experience building relationships and working with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership Strategic thinking: you'll be a strategic thinker, who uses feedback and data to inform improvements
  • Decision making: experience of planning and prioritising internal comms projects as well as prioritising and planning the workload of yourself and others
  • Creative thinking: ability to find the best solution for the problem, suggest new approaches and think beyond existing channels and tools
  • Content creation: significant experience of content creation and copywriting. You should be able to develop content of a high standard yourself and have experience of  briefing others where needed
  • Positive attitude: positive and can-do, ambitious in your desire to get things done to a high standard and to drive positive impact. The ability to motivate the organization and get buy-in from stakeholders

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Deliver company-wide internal comms activity, taking responsibility for areas as designated by the Head of Corporate Communications
  • Operationalize communications functions by building a programmatic framework that includes content calendars, content guidelines, channel strategy (intranet, social channels, company emails, town halls etc
  • Working closely with other teams across the organisation and with senior stakeholders, developing and delivering effective internal communications plans for priority projects that foster strategic alignment while advancing the organisation's change management and transformation initiatives, in line with the broader corporate strategy
  • Working alongside the team to ensure that internal comms activity is planned into the global communications calendar, and that messages to the organisation are prioritised accordingly with a consistent narrativ
  • Working with the local teams to ensure internal communications are aligned with local culture and ways of working for maximum impact
  • Using audience insight and data to proactively feed into the development and evaluation of the internal comms and engagement strategy and drive improvements accordingly
