A rare opportunity has arisen for a Creative Strategist to join one of the UK's top consumer PR agencies working on earned media campaigns

This multi-award-winning company is recognised as one of the UK's top ranking PR agencies. Based between London and NYC, they're a 70-strong team of earned media specialists, delivering campaigns across consumer, corporate, digital and broadcast. What they're most known for is their work in the consumer space, where they represent some of the nation's most beloved household name brands. Joining an existing team of senior creative directors, this mid-level Creative Strategist role will be the first of its kind for the agency as it embarks on a new phase of growth, building out a creative arm to the business.

The Creative Strategist role in a nutshell:

In collaboration with the traditional account teams and existing creative team the Creative Strategist will help the agency deliver impactful and disruptive PR campaign ideas. On any given day you will be reviewing client strategy documents; interrogating creative briefs; devising creative platforms; briefing video, photography, editors, postproduction houses etc, and presenting clients with earned activation tactics. You'll use research, data and insights to inform your big ideas and be confident enough to sell those ideas internally and externally. Using your creative expertise, you'll also be a trusted advisor and counsellor to traditional account teams.  

The ideal Creative Strategist

  • Must come from a traditional PR background or have significant experience working on earned campaigns (sorry no people with ATL experience)
  • Could be anywhere from Account Manager to Senior Account Director level
  • You may have a more traditional PR background with some experience working on creative briefs, perhaps looking to transition to a purely creative role
  • A big ideas person who can present ideas to people in a compelling way
  • Happy to take on regular constructive feedback and adapt ideas
