The Media Office is looking for Team Leaders with a positive, proactive, and a can-do attitude. Successful candidates will be expected to work as part of a nine week rota, on 6.30-2.30pm, 8-4pm, 10-6pm and 11-7pm. You will be on-call to the force 24/7 for one week in nine, again on a rota basis. The team are moving to a more agile way of working with a mix of working from home during on call and from within Force Headquarters.

The role of Media Officer Team leader attracts a 2.22% weekend enhancement and a 12.5% shift allowance.

GMP are committed to ensure that the make-up of our workforce is reflective of the communities we serve and we recognise that having a diverse workforce makes us more approachable and relevant to the public.

Any potential candidates wishing to speak to one of the leadership team about this role ahead of applying, do feel free to contact [email protected] and we'd be happy to talk more about the role and what it's like to work for one of the biggest police forces in the country.
