SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ENTERTAINMENT & CONSUMER BRANDS PR

After a period of exponential growth, Premier’s Entertainment & Consumer Brands  PR division is looking for a senior practice director. Comprising the video games and consumer brand teams, the 18 strong group is looking for a dynamic leader to take them to the next level.

 

You will manage a broad portfolio of clients within the entertainment industry or associated with it. The aim is to ensure that we deliver best in class communications, constantly exploring how we can add to our offering. The role will be responsible for delivering growth through new business acquisition and by innovating our practices and developing the team.

 

Of equal importance is a strong contribution to the company as a whole, an in-depth understanding of consumer PR and core leadership skills.

 

Key tasks – Strategic

  • Build up and maintain the department and develop our strong reputation
  • Plan and implement annual new business strategies to target new areas for growth
  • Initiate new business contacts and prepare new business proposals cross selling other departments where possible
  • Seek out and identify additional revenue opportunities from existing clients
  • Manage team members to ensure they contribute to your new business plan
  • Ensure that all campaigns (and therefore your team) are profitable and properly resourced
  • Provide accurate information for contracting and accounts procedures

 

Key tasks – Client Servicing

  • Ensure we are always delivering best in class PR offering and consultancy to clients Responsible for evolving PR offering in line with industry and media trends and changes Leading key client planning process and delivery of plans Maintaining good senior client relationships in order to keep and grow business Work alongside senior team to deliver outstanding pitch work

 

 

Key Tasks – Staffing

  • Manage all staffing and recruitment requirements within your team
  • Candidate selection, interviewing, task setting and evaluation as required
  • Manage the time of your team effectively with regard to annual leave and working patterns and productivity
  • Ensuring that all team members have clear objectives and motivation plans set annually, reviewed regularly

 

Key Tasks – Company-Wide

  • Follow all house systems and styles
  • Contribute to the growth and culture of the company by showing an active interest in other departments and encouraging your teams to do the same.
