 Reporting to the Head of Communications, you would be planning and delivering our messages across our internal and external channels, to support delivery of our expanding remit.

Responsibilities:        

  • Act as a brand guardian: help develop corporate messaging, branded materials and communications to support the company as it gears up to deliver the corporate plan 2023-2025
  • Deliver print and digital marketing campaigns to engage with key audiences in the property, construction, and education sectors
  • Create regular corporate materials and internal communications, including written copy for marketing collateral, case studies and news stories
  • Draft speeches, briefing notes, answers to Parliamentary Questions and responses Freedom of Information Act requests
  • Identify sector engagement opportunities at corporate events, networks, forums, conferences, exhibitions and other events, and project manage production of presentations and exhibition materials
  • Manage social media planning and content for Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, growing engagement and linking with corporate objectives
  • Oversee communications expenditure and assist the Head of Communications with budget management
  • Monitor performance across internal and external communications channels and assess the effectiveness of the company’s activities.

Key Skills & Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent copywriting, proofing and content creation on and offline
  • Experience managing corporate websites and social media accounts Experience organising corporate events or exhibitions
  • To be an organised self-starter with capacity to work on own initiative
  • To be flexible, organised, with an eye for detail
  • To take responsibility for your personal development, in line with our corporate values To be competent in the Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint; and ideally Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign and Photoshop
  • A qualification from a communication’s professional membership body (e.g. CIPR, PRCA, CIM) would be advantageous
  • A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion, and an appreciation of its importance in team composition and service delivery.
