Job Details

As the UK’s leading innovation experts in manufacturing, the High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC) is an exciting and dynamic organisation, always looking for new ideas and talent. Working with manufacturers, researchers, Government and other research and technology organisations, we provide unparalleled support to the UK manufacturing community, helping to make new technologies a commercial success. Whether by slashing carbon from production lines or helping to produce life-saving medical equipment, our work is leading the way for a greener, more prosperous future.

We’re now looking for a permanent, full-time Events Coordinator to support our Communications Team. The successful candidate will be an experienced events professional with a proven track record of delivering high-impact events. You will also have excellent communication skills and an ability to negotiate with a variety of partners.

As our Events Coordinator, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to lead our presence at industrial events, including international exhibitions. This work will involve co-ordinating events teams across each of our seven centres to deliver outstanding brand awareness and promotional activity, supporting lead generation where possible. You will also work with colleagues from our business support, policy and technical areas to deliver and support internal and private stakeholder events, fostering better communication between HVMC and target groups.

In this role, you will have an opportunity for real impact on our organisation, guiding our events strategy and contributing to our national growth. You’ll be in a positive and supportive environment, working flexibly between your home, our Birmingham office alongside the thriving Aston University community, and on the ground at events across the country.

To apply, please email us at  [email protected] explaining why your skills and experience match our requirements.  Please also provide your CV.
