PR Manager

My client, a FTSE 250 household name, is looking for a PR Manager to lead the communications across it's Eastern UK region. This is a newly created role where you'll help tell the story and shape the narrative of a business that touches millions of people every day.

Working with both business leadership and the wider comms community, you'll be responsible for both reactive and proactive PR, building strong relationships with press and external stakeholders as well as getting under the skin of the business. With a positive agenda for the coming years and a set of clear priorities to deliver on, the business needs a creative, tenacious and hungry PR pro at the helm to help them tell their story and manage reputational risks. A fantastic 'greenfield' role for an experience PR Manager to have the autonomy and scope to make this their own.

You'll have a strong track record in PR, perhaps having both B2B and B2C experience, and you will be adept at 'seeing the story' and being able to present and promote it. You'll be happy planning and devising proactive messaging and building relationships with regional press and a wide range of external stakeholders; you'll also rise to the challenge of a crisis and be able to manage the reactive side of things too. As a resilient, creative and down to earth PR, you'll be ready for some wider exposure and greater accountability.

Offered with hybrid working, locations in Chelmsford and Norwich for regular office time although largely home-based.
