About the Role:

As the Head of PR, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of impactful short and long-form copy for diverse audiences, including social media campaigns, blog articles, press releases, web copy, and client presentations across various industries. You will be leading PR strategies from inception to execution, pitching stories to the press, and conceptualizing innovative campaigns, all while identifying potential press opportunities, both reactive and proactive.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

• Demonstrate a strong network of journalistic connections with a proven track record of securing media coverage.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in editorial or PR roles within an agency, publication, or related field.
• Showcase expertise in story pitching and successful media coverage.
• Exhibit exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Display excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and client relations.
• Have experience in team development and staff management.
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possess critical reading and thinking abilities.
• Showcase a positive and proactive attitude within a collaborative environment.
• Embrace the challenges of agency life and excel in a fast-paced setting.
• Assume the role of a confident senior manager with an abundance of innovative ideas.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Editorial and PR lead for the company and its clients.
• Lead and manage a team of content writers and PR executives to enhance the company's editorial offerings.
• Strategise, plan, and execute campaigns that drive engagement in alignment with client briefs.
• Collaborate with the senior management team as necessary.
