Required:

  • A strategic viewpoint, forward planning alongside team members
  • A strong understanding of the PR disciplines and services to consistently think outside the box and offer new and exciting ideas for campaigns
  • Be commercially minded - and be looking to develop this further
  • Be proactive in putting yourself forwards for new business and agency opportunities
  • Be curious, confidently posing strategic questions to create business development and client relationships
  • Look after a portfolio of around 6-8 clients; managing budgets (with senior oversight) as well as the teams’ hours
  • Lead on client and campaign execution with senior support
  • Have a results-focused approach to your work
  • Have strong influencer relationships and be continuously striving to keep these sharp
  • Think with an ‘integrated mindset’, with experience in campaigns across media relations as well as social media, events and owned content
  • Have strong project management skills able to juggle a number of projects at once and instill senior clients with confidence and motivate your team
  • Task manage junior team members on accounts; inspiring them to reach their full potential
  • Be the right hand person to your Account Director or Senior Account Director
  • Be a real team player

Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a dynamic PR environment, ideally within the innovation, tech or B2B space
  • A genuine interest in, and thorough knowledge of, technology and digital commerce
  • Superb client relationship skills
  • An ability to multi-task and keep your cool under pressure
  • Creative thinking
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Sound strategic sense
  • Good media, social media and wider influencer contacts
  • Experience of delivering digital campaigns
  • An entrepreneurial outlook
  • Experience and eagerness for new business
  • Ambition, drive and motivation
